Rainbow baby

Rainbow baby is the name given to a baby that was conceived after a miscarriage or stillbirth. 

It is believed that the beauty of a rainbow does not undo the devastation of a storm. When a rainbow appears, it does not mean that the storm never happened or that we are still dealing with its consequences. It means that something beautiful and luminous has appeared amidst the darkness and clouds. Storm clouds may still be hovering, but the rainbow offers a counterbalance of color, energy and hope.
